I’ve been pondering what I could do to cheer up our female readers. They have had a tough time of it of late –  coming to terms with the fact that pole-dancers are now “athletes” rather than “strippers” and being outraged by the behavior of gender-traitor Tyra Banks. Frankly, it’s all been a little too much.

I could not think of anything, so I went about my daily business. Suddenly, while feeding my dog,  a single name came to mind, clear and unbidden –  ‘Jude Law‘, my subconscious said. ‘Jude Law!”
